Homer Simpson will answer your Questions in Live-Animated segment of Simpsons Series Finale

Fox has announced that the final three minutes of it’s May 15th episode of the long running animation sitcom will feature a live segment; wherein Homer Simpson’s voice actor, Dan Castellaneta, will take fans questions live on air. The twist being that Castellaneta’s live performance will be mapped onto a two-dimensional Homer and replicate the voice actors movements.

Utilizing motion capture technology – the show will be attempting to project 2D assets onto a Homer Simpson display. Episodes of The Simpsons usually take months to create and animate – so doing it all live will be an impressive watch.

If you want to pose a question to Homer Simpson and get in with a chance of having your question answered live – you just need to submit the question using the ‘#HomerLive’ tag on Twitter during the dates of May 1st and May 4th.

You may need to speak up though, he’s wearing a towel.
