New ‘Night Manager’ trailer lands – Tom Hiddleston to face off against Hugh Laurie
Earlier this year the BBC released a trailer for it’s upcoming miniseries The Night Manager starring Tom Hiddleston (Avengers), Hugh Laurie (House MD) and Olivia Colman (Broadchurch) which captured the imagination of audiences. Now we’ve learned more about the upcoming show, got a new trailer and when we can expect to watch it.
The Night Manager is an American/British co-production between AMC and the BBC. The series synopsis reads;
The Night Manager mini-series will bring together love, loss and revenge in a complex story of modern criminality. The eagerly anticipated series follows former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) as he navigates the shadowy recesses of Whitehall and Washington where an unholy alliance operates between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. To infiltrate the inner circle of lethal arms dealer Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie), Pine must himself become a criminal.
It all sounds terribly exciting and fans both sides of the Atlantic won’t have long to wait to watch it, as the series has been pencilled in for an April 19th premier.
The six-episode project was filmed during a 75-day shoot in Morocco, Majorca, Switzerland and London. So expect a lot of diverse visuals in the final show.
