Star Wars Episode VIII codename is “Space Bears”, high set security reported
Star Wars Episode VIII is one of the highest anticipated films from Disney. After making $2 billion on the previous instalment; it’s obvious the company would want to keep the secrets of the film away from prying eyes. Today news emerged of how they are trying to achieve that.
Carrie Fisher tweeted a picture from the set of Episode VIII; seemingly confirming the codename for the movie as “Space Bears.
On top of this reports indicate that improved security has been used to prevent repeats of some incidents that plagued the filming of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Incidents of drones flying overhead and reported script leaks hit the filming process. This time around 600 guards have been deployed and an army of private drones are being utilised to bring down uninvited flying pests.
This all makes sense. Anticipation for the next Star Wars is high and for fans to get the best experience, these measures have to be taken to prevent spoilers.
Space Bears: Episode VIII will be hitting cinemas in December 2017.
